On behalf of Kentville Fire Chief Ryan MacEachern, and the membership of the Kentville Volunteer Fire Department (K.V.F.D), we would like to welcome everyone to our web site. Please take the time to enjoy some of our pictures, and learn about the firefighters that serve the community in the "Featured Firefighter" section.

The K.V.F.D provides services to the Town of Kentville, Municipality of the County of Kings, and mutual aid to neighbouring fire departments. The K.V.F.D responds to an average of over 350 calls per year in our coverage area. Additionally, along with Wolfville Fire Dept., and New Minas Fire Dept, the K.V.F.D is part of a combined Hazardous Material Response Team.

If you are ever in the Town of Kentville, please stop by and meet our friendly staff who would be more than happy to let you explore our trucks, see our state-of-the-art equipment, and take a tour of our facility and one-of-a-kind museum!
